About Me

My Story

Welcome to Diary of a Fashionpreneur.

I’m Thelma — a former fashion designer who learned (the hard way) that talent alone isn't enough to build a thriving fashion brand.

I spent years starting and stopping, battling self-doubt, burnout, and a lack of direction. My designs were good, but the business side? I felt completely lost.

Failed launches, inconsistent income, and overwhelming pressure made me question everything.

Until I found clarity — through structure, content, and community.

Today, I no longer run a sewing business. I work remotely, helping emerging African fashionpreneurs—especially solo designers and small teams—build sustainable brands with confidence and systems that work.

This blog is a reflection of my journey and a space for yours too.

I don’t teach from perfection — I teach from experience. And everything I share comes from what I’ve tested, failed, fixed, and now help others implement.
